• Organised for the third year running, the Asia Investment Banking Conference (AIBC) is the largest student-run conference in Asia focused on M&A and Corporate Finance. The Conference was initiated by students from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
  • The inaugural Conference was held in Singapore from 23-24 September 2009 and the following one as well, from 5-6 July 2010.
  • 300 of the brightest and most talented students from approximately 50 renowned universities across the globe, and senior professionals representing various prominent organisations within the financial services industry, participated in keynote speeches, panel discussions and interactive workshops.
  • Building upon the success of AIBC 2009 and AIBC 2010, this year’s conference seeks to be bigger and better. It is scheduled to take place over two days, on 8-9 September 2011, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Hong Kong


  • To promote the development of the financial services industry in Asia by providing a platform for senior professionals and students to discuss critical issues and industry trends
  • To facilitate the exchange of corporate finance strategies employed in Asia by industry experts
